Letchworth State Park day 2 - Arrived before sunri

Letchworth State Park day 2 - Arrived before sunrise to see my first cloud inversion. The clouds cleared out before the sun came up, otherwise there might have been some epic orange glowing clouds throughout the canyon as I’ve seen in other photos. Next I checked out Humphrey’s Overlook for more canyon photography (with a nice view of a S curve in the canyon/river path). Lastly, I hiked up and down 127 steps to Lower Falls and enjoyed a nice slip and fall on muddy clay 😆#letchworthstatepark #nystateparks #greatbendoverlook #landscapephotography #cloudinversion

Today was an adventure. I drove from Buffalo, NY to Letchworth State Park. The one hour trip turned into 3.5 hrs involving a flat tire and waiting for a new rental car. I arrived in time to scope out a few sunset photography spots. Back tomorrow for sunrise photos hopefully including fog and/or a cloud inversion. 🤞🤞🤞
